President Biden addressed the brewing conflict between Russia and Ukraine during a press briefing Wednesday, saying of Russian President Vladimir Putin, "my guess is he will move in."

Biden said that Russia will be "held accountable if it invades" but added that "it depends on what it does."
"It's one thing if it's a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about what to do and not do, et cetera."

Biden's suggestion that there may not be devastating sanctions over a "minor incursion" by Russia is sure to spark alarm in Ukraine, where top officials have been pleading with the U.S. to impose sanctions now to avoid that very scenario.

Joe has surrendered. When he gave Russia the pipeline we knew the surrender of the Ukraine was in the offing.
His regime has been doing this for days — they must have laid huge bets in Vegas on invasion and will lose if peace breaks out.
One of the few good things George W. Bush had been taught to say was “I won’t negotiate with myself.” Biden obviously missed that lesson — he already hedging on what response we would make if any.

Poland is the wildcard.
I don’t think they’ll sit idly by if Russia invades Ukraine. They may unilaterally move their troops into Western Ukraine. Remember, parts of Western Ukraine were once part of Poland, and Poland will want to establish a buffer, that’s what could drag NATO into it.
