The Great Barrington Declaration is a statement written in early 2020 that proposed a focused protection approach to handling COVID. It was written by Dr. Martin Kulldorff, professor of medicine and epidemiologist at Harvard University, Dr. Sunetra Gupta, professor and epidemiologist at Oxford University and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a physician, epidemiologist and professor of medicine at Stanford University.

It also has an impressive list of co-signers that you can see on the home page that include some of the most renowned scientists in the world, along with nearly one million signatures from doctors, scientists, concerned citizens and healthcare workers.

The medical personnel get wedged between their beliefs and having their careers ruined. My wife just had a colonoscopy today, and she was required to wear a mask inside the facility. No big deal, except when the anesthesiologist went to put on the oxygen cover over her mouth & nose, he had to get it under her mask.

Sensing his frustration, she quietly asked whether the masks were an annoyance. He nodded and winced. She gathered he would have liked to have gone off on a rant, but he had an important task to perform and a job to retain.

60,000? That's a lot of doctors and scientists. To listen to the MSM, you would think that opposition to the vaccines and/or vaccine mandates is a fringe position. Even if 60,000 is only a small fraction of the available pool, there are probably many others who basically agree but are afraid to go public for fear of professional repercussions.

Some of the vaccine critics strike me as a bit "sketchy," but I doubt there are 60,000 wackos in those fields.
