The American way of life has been nearly destroyed over the past two years by a virus that came from communist China. Politically, economically, and socially, America has been devastated. As of this writing, 850,000 Americans have died. Why, then, is the U.S. Olympic team preparing to head to Beijing to participate in the Winter Olympics? If ever there was an Olympics that should be boycotted, this is it.
The purpose of the quadrennial games is, or ought to be, to promote goodwill among nations while allowing athletes a stage where they can test their skills against world-class competition. No one believes that is the purpose of the Beijing Olympics. In the opening ceremony, President Xi Jinping could apologize to the world for allowing the coronavirus virus to spread from Wuhan throughout the planet while authorities hushed it up and worked hard to prevent its spread to the rest of China. That would be a demonstration of goodwill and a modicum of decency, given the millions globally who have died. That is not going to happen. For China’s leaders, the purpose of these Olympics is purely political. It is to celebrate China’s way of life. That includes the Chinese Communist Party and its repression of 1.4 billion people and the establishment of China as a global superpower capable of engaging in biowarfare against any nation it chooses with impunity. Having paid billions to the regime to air these Olympics, that won’t be a message that NBC (and the American corporations that have also paid dearly to advertise during event coverage) will convey over two weeks’ time.

If the athletics can think for themselves, they would not go over. But again the question is Can they think for themselves.
Boycott all organized sports.
Take the time and energy saved and invest in yourself, and invest in God.
A communist country, mistreats people, launches deadly virus, our biggest enemy, tell me again why we should send our athletes?

I’ve been “boycotting” the Olympics since the early 80’s.
I’ve seen a number of ads on NBC and NOT ONE mentioned Beijing or China.
I gave up on the WOKE NFL years ago.
Now, college sports is imploding because of NCAA mismanagement, and WOKEness.
I’m spending a lot more time outdoors, in rural environments. The spiritual rewards are magnificent.
The Chinese make a majority of the face diapers sold in the U.S. as well.

If Trump were POTUS, I could see it happening, although many athletes would go to China just to spite Trump. With Brandon, he’ll either get a behind-the-scenes payoff or personal threat if he tries to pull that maneuver.
First, the broadcasting is falsely jingoistic. The saccharine sweet flag waving when the networks piss on the flag the rest of the year.
Second, the false drama and social issues the broadcast shows are more relevant to the network than the event.
Summary for me? Its just not an enjoyable thing to watch any more.
It should take place because the Chinese are not as stupid as the Australians who keep putting the greatest tennis player ever in prison, for not taking some potentially dangerous vaccine.

UHHH, no there have not!!!
Even the CDC is saying that these numbers are not correct. They (the CDC) claim that 75% of the deaths are overreported, saying that there is a clear delineation between those who died of covid vs those who died with covid.
So take that 850,000 number, multiply it by 0.25% and you get 212,500. Now that number is over a 2 year period, so the number is actually 106,250 people per year, and frankly I don’t believe the 75% number or the 850,000 number either.
Either way, all this has amounted to is either according to the CDC, a bad influenza year, or as many of us believe, just another normal influenza year.

Let’s not forget that.
They are perfectly capable of pretending that “beijing” is some city in the middle of nowhere. I expect a blackout on news about the CCP government and its actions. Lots of BS “human interest stories” about athletes and their pets and such.
Yet we and the rest of the world is giving them pats on the back.
