As many have said, this needs to stop, now!

I will vote for Trump, but he had better knock it off with DeSantis. Truth be told, I would have a hard time choosing Trump over DeSantis if it ever came to that. As the article appropriately sums up:

The Florida governor is extremely popular in Republican circles, and is widely seen as a leader who can push policies popularized by Trump, but without the same level of drama or baggage.

I was hoping for a Trump-DeSantis ticket, so that DeSantis would be set up perfectly as THE leading candidate for ‘28. We could have 12 years of actual good Republicans running the show.

Crap like this makes such a scenario just about impossible - and the Dems must enjoy the Hell out of it.

Charisma = baggage. Dull = carry on.

It’s only drama and baggage for those looking for drama and baggage.

President Trump could fed the hungry and houses the homeless. An unnamed source would say that President got mad and complained that they were eating ham instead of bologna and living in a 1BR apartment instead of a studio.

Anything to rile folks up.

I agree with you there. It would be a tough choice for many.

I’ve been impressed with DeSantis put it that way.

The question is if the nomination is going to be contested?

It could well be.

DeSantis has done a great job as governor and especially during the pandemic, seeing that people get the proper treatments and without turning Florida into a prison. So far, DeSantis has done his job in a balanced way, without being namby pamby and also without daily Twitter meltdowns.

So how do you know what truth tere is if any in this story of unnamed sources? Are we that gullible? Get a grip, people. Demand sources.

Do you actually believe that Trump said this?

Agreed. I will vote Trump in 2024. But right now it looks like I'll be voting DeSantis in 2028, and I want him undamaged and strong then.

DeSantis will be 46 in 2024. Trump will be 78. I prefer youth. And Trump had his chance in '16 and '20.

I like Ron. I’m beginning to dislike the divisiveness in certain others. We need to stand together not be divided.
