If I understand correctly, what is regarded by some people as vitamin D3 winter will last though February, people gradually enjoying more outside activity.
Also, consider that if your outdoor shadow is longer than you are tall, then your exposed skin is probably not making enough vitamin D3 and you might want to consider D3 supplement in my non-medical opinion.
So it's almost as if Big Pharma knows that CV19 natural immunity is doing its job and is syncronizing the introduction of a new product to give us impression that pill is protecting us.
