With inflation, $1500 each now isn’t a surprise.
I don’t normally butt in; butt I’m with you. Those are some EXPENSIVE saws. Don’t forget, though, to multiply that $3K by 80% to account for the reduced value of the Canada $.

That’s $3,000 Canadian. Probably about $2,250 in U.S. dollars at today’s exchange rate, but I haven’t checked that in a few weeks.
