He did not really have much of a record, and a lot of it was 20 years ago. The authorities in the UK had pretty much forgotten about him.

Full disclosure, the FBI had nothing to do with it. There is no visa requirement for citizens of the UK or EU.
Its DHS that dropped the ball here because they failed to do a standard background check.

The FBI has been corrupt for decades and needs to be rebuilt from scratch or eliminated entirely.
Because our gov’t agencies, all of them have been infiltrated by anti-Constitutional Socialists. Just like the entirety of the entertainment industry, corporations, EDUCATION, the Dem Party, and RINO’s masquerading as Republicans but, in reality, are Stealth Socialists absorbed with gov’t power and funded by the latter.

I think it’s time Republican voters demand the FBI and the BATFE be abolished. No debate, just abolish these unconstitutional agencies or kiss the midterms goodbye, kiss you careers goodbye. There is no Constitutional authority for the Federal government to have any agency with police power and for reasons that are now all too obvious. Shut them down or we form a third party.
It’s just 1 or 2 women in high positions in the FBI the give the bureau a bad name. 99.99 percent of the rank and file are honorable and patriotic folks - right Hannity?
