Mo Brooks officially qualifies U.S. Senate candidacy with ALGOP

This past Friday, U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Huntsville) formally qualified his candidacy for the U.S. Senate with the Alabama Republican Party.

Brooks joins former Business Council of Alabama CEO Katie Britt and former U.S. Army aviator Mike Durant in officially qualifying his candidacy for Alabama’s open U.S. Senate seat.

Brooks’ campaign in a release touted the endorsement he holds from former President Donald Trump.

“Today, Congressman Mo Brooks officially qualified to be Alabama’s Republican nominee for the United States Senate. Congressman Brooks is the only proven Conservative, Trump-endorsed candidate in the race,” the campaign stated.

Brooks seemingly took a shot at his GOP primary opponents and indicated that he was the only “proven conservative” in the race.

“America needs tested fighters with a proven record of standing with President Trump and the MAGA agenda,” asserted Brooks. “As the ONLY America First candidate in this race, I offer Alabama a choice between a proven conservative or what America can’t afford: yet another unreliable Liz Cheney or John McCain RINO. I look forward to seeing Alabama citizens on the trail soon, and especially look forward to earning their vote on May 24.”

Alabama has a chance to redeem themselves.
Shelby was a Bush Leaguer.

PA, OH, MO, NC also have the chance to replace their Bush League Republicans with MAGA Senators.

Boozman, Crapo, Lankford, Lee, Moran, Murkowski, Rubio, Scott, Thune and Young should all have primary challengers this cycle.

The only ones worthy of re-election are Kennedy, Paul and Johnson.

If we keep re-electing Mitch’s bitches, we will never get new leadership.

The Turtle and company are backing Shelby’s hand-picked successor, Katie Britt, over Mo Brooks.

At this point, I think any other “conservative” GOP candidate is there to split the vote to get the GOP-e’s candidate elected. YMMV

That’s the game they play, because it works.

That’s how three time Amnesty Senator Grahamnesty gets re-elected.

The Blunt replacement in MO is going to be one heck of a primary. Loaded field of candidates.

At least Alabama has a run-off if one candidate fails to get 50% +1 in the primary.

Yep. Here is a fairly recent poll which shows Durant eating up some of Mo’s lead.

Not Lee. Give him one more term.
Not Young. See above.

No one of note will step up to challenge the others. Too much infighting will be detrimental in November. Let Trump slap them around. They’ll follow.

Vote for whoever you want. What if the only one running is one of Mitch’s bitches? Where’s that truck driver-like fella to take on McCarthy in the primary. That would keep him out of the speakers chair. Use your head.

Can you imagine if he was one of the 9 ??

I give him credit for keeping Garland off the court.

Trump’s Supreme Court nominees are nothing to brag about.

Saw a news report on this race recently where Mo Brooks was attacking Katie Britt for having not previously held elected office. That’s a rather bizarre line of attack.

Most of the press coverage I’ve been seeing on this race is slanted to make Mo Brooks look bad. Neither the Dems nor the GOPe want Brooks to win.
