Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan on Sunday criticized President Joe Biden's effort to offer free at-home COVID-19 tests to Americans, claiming the plan caused issues for states already planning to purchase kits.
"The president announced nearly a month ago before Christmas that he was going to distribute these half a billion rapid tests out across the country," Hogan, a Republican, said during an appearance on CBS News' "Face the Nation."
"And so far we haven't seen any," he added. "We were acquiring our own, you know, the states have been on the front lines throughout this crisis. And now it appears as if, rather than producing more of these rapid tests, the federal government is just purchasing the ones that we had already contracted for."…

Biden purchased all the available tests and the are sitting in some government warehouse.
I bought a covid test a little more than a month ago and it was delivered the same day. It’s another Biden screw up.

They need to put an end to that, or he never again adorn the cover of Weekly Standard (or National Review).
What’s the problem, Hogan isn’t getting his kickbacks?
If the government was in charge of sand, there would soon be a shortage of it.
Maybe Lockdown Larry can get his wife to get more tests from South Korea. Y’know, the ones that he flew in by 747 in the dead of night, paid for with taxpayer money and no congressional oversight. Oh yea, the also had to be returned because they didn’t have FDA approval and didn’t work.
The idiocy of testing when you aren’t sick just shows the neurosis of the people.

These kits were supposed to be available over the counter for any one to buy, but we can’t because government has bought them all up with no real plan to distribute them. Now, they’re sitting in some warehouse, under who knows what environmental conditions, as they expire down. Another example of government meddling screwing up something that would have been alright if they had left it alone. I wouldn’t be surprised if China has snarfed up the kits too.
You probably will have to give up a bunch of personal information, including your SSN, on one of their websites to get the damn kit you were supposed to be able to buy at Wal-Mart.
If this was about health, the hospitals would all have clinics open in ever suburban neighborhood and empty storefront. If it was about giving people information about their health, the tests would have been distributed everywhere by now.
What they want is numbers to fill in boxes because numbers are a way of showing off how much they have helped, and if there is a compulsion to report those tests back to thr government, exercising control.
The governor is angry because cutting the states out means the feds get all of the kickback money that the gov was planning on pocketing.
When people get mad they frequently blurt out the truth.
