If California is ever going to achieve true equity, the state must require parents to give away their children.
Today’s Californians often hold up equity — the goal of a just society completely free from bias — as our greatest value. Gov. Gavin Newsom makes decisions through “an equity lens.” Institutions from dance ensembles to tech companies have publicly pledged themselves to equity.
But their promises are no match for the power of parents.

This column is not satire. It also appeared today on the San Francisco Chronicle’s opinion page.
Notice to author. Separating me from my children would be like stepping between a grizzly and its Cubs
The bonds between parents and their young has been biological fact since the beginning of time. That is settled science.
They can start by allowing all babies to live. Otherwise those commies are just proving over and over how demonic they really are.
The Colin is satire. Shame some of you can’t see that. Reread it again
Satire today. Policy tomorrow.
The column reads like Jonathan Swift’s “A Modest Proposal”.
You ain't kidding! 57 genders. Trans athletes breaking records. And so on...
Please check previous columns by Joe Matthews. He’s serious
A Modest Proposal.
Wow! The year 6565 came a little earlier than was previously expected:
In the year 6565
You won’t need no husband, won’t need no wife
You’ll pick your son, pick your daughter too
From the bottom of a long glass tube
Bkmk life
His picture looked pretty much like I expected.
Very good dental work, though. I have to wonder how many sets of teeth he’s been through....you know someone has to have punched them out at least once
“The Colin is satire.”

This was my view too. And then it occurred to me—this author is satirizing liberal policy. If this column is satire, then the author is conservative.
This is not really new idea. The communists pushed this idea a long time ago!
“Take all the children from the parents, put them in boarding schools where they will undergo constant indoctrination. That way, we can raise a perfect communist citizens. All equal and all mindless followers of the ruling philosophy!”
It was planned to be implemented in each and every communist country, but in most, it run into major opposition.
Although it was more - less implemented in Cuba and North Korea.
Whoever wrote it is likely a Castro follower.
And one thing I’m certain of—this author isn’t a conservative.
I read it twice. I’d like to believe it is satire, but I am not sure.
The author’s photo portrays a nice looking young man, not a crazy tattooed leftist creep. So that suggests satire.
But it is very hard to tell.
“But my proposal is quite modest”

I don’t know. Maybe it is satire. I think this piece is just a failure from beginning to end.
Too clever by half.
