electron mass =
9.10938356 × 10^-28 grams
size of electron:
The upper bound of the electron radius of 10^−18 meters
Earth/Diameter
12.742 million meters [order of magnitude, 10^6]
Earth Mass: 5.972 × 10^24 kg
Increase size of electron by 24 orders of magnitude: 10^6 meters.
Increase mass of electron by 24 orders of magnitude: 10^-4 grams.
Feathers weigh maybe a couple of grams.
Thank you.
I found why I am confused.
You speak of SIZE in this statement but your answer deals with MASS.
This would be fine if the DENSITY of the two items being compared were the same.
I am now trying to search for the density of an electron but am coming up short.
