I read that the newer BMW i3 models manufactured after March 2015 has the new firmware update to automatically unlock plug from charge port once it's 100% charged. Someone can't just pull the plug if charging, but can if no longer being charged. That's a good feature. You can't idiot proof anything, you stop one idiot and there is always another one around to ruin things.
Point is a well worn or damaged gas nozzle can in most cases still be used. How about a worn or damaged EV charging cable?
If you idiot proof something the universe will create a bigger idiot.🙄
