The whole story was "gaslighting" at its worst.

How many mutant males in South Dakota were competing in girls' sports when the legislature drafted that bill in the first place?

This has all been nothing more than self-aggrandizing politics, with state legislators pushing each other out of the way to get in front of an issue that had been fabricated from the ground up.

So you’re saying that if she signed it, it wouldn’t have affected anything (since the guy is in Pennsylvania).

If so, then why not sign it? After all it’s harmless, other than maybe having to divert a couple of lawyers already on the state payroll to defend it.
