Carter wasn’t demented at the time of his tenure. Not sure which is worse. Biden has an excuse.
Yes, and much faster - my cynical electioneering self is almost concerned that the bad stuff has happened “too soon”, and will even out by ‘24 and let his chosen successor take over as all the pseudo-communists feel comfortable again in their spoiled situation.
Carter, at least, hired Paul Volcker.
When the regime of Joe Stolen/”Que mala” Harris loses Morning Joe, the collapse is imminent.
Maybe for all parties concerned.
Remember whose father was in Jimmy Carter’s Cabinet? Zbigniew Brzezinski is Morning Joe’s father-in-law, Just sayin’.....
Joe did his best to get Biden elected.
Carter and Biden share another feature: They both had/have handlers. Carter had the Trilateral Commission with Zbigniew Brzezinski (who was also a key advisor to Obama) and Biden who also has the Trilateral Commission with John Podesta (Brzezinski finally died in 2017). Both Brzezinski and Podesta were/are members of CAP Center for American Progress
The CAP says they are “dedicated to improving the lives of Americans through ideas and action”. In reality, it’s a secret “brain trust” within the Democratic National Committee and developed specifically to promote Democrat ideas and candidates. According to their website, they “expose the hollowness of conservative governing philosophy, and challenge the media to cover the issues that truly matter.” The liberal activist George Soros donated three million dollars in 2004 in an unsuccessful attempt to defeat the re-election of President George W. Bush. It is likely another Communist front group.
I will say, as much as I didn’t care for Carter, Biden isn’t worthy to shine Carter’s shoes.
The Morning Joe program was/is a 100% behind Joe Biden.
that the bad stuff has happened “too soon”

I get what you’re saying and that’s one possible scenario.
However, bad things left unfixed tend to grow into bigger problems. And there are plenty of them. For starters, the economy is a flaming mess, inflation is just getting started, immigration is a growing problem, and international tensions are heating up. Its easy to envision all of those things worsening, and they aren’t the kinds of problems that can be fixed overnight.
The one thing that might improve is the pandemic. Other than that lots of chickens are coming home to roost.
Jimmy Carter was the fourth worst POTUS in my lifetime. LBJ had a good economy, but his ‘grand society’ robbing social security as well as the Vietnam war puts him at a solid #3. Obama politicalization of the military and intelligence services was even more destructive that LBJ, as well as his attack on the middle class, and his terrorist support, gives him a solid #2. Biden policies do not appear to be accidental incompetence, but outright anti-American and frankly globalist or Chinese. I give Biden a clear #1 worst.
I don’t worry about Biden starting a war. He doesn’t have the intelligence, stamina, courage or leadership ability to deal with one. He’ll talk big about “punishing” Russia but in the end it will mean nothing.
Our adversaries, who are quick to see weakness and the unique opportunity for gains at the expense of a woke and weakened U.S. administration, will naturally see that as a green light to launch their own aggressive moves.
Biden will passively watch while they take their prizes.
The scamdemic might get better, but I don’t know about the hysteria.
The Dems love this opportunity to seize power. So I’m not sure they can let it go, despite the virus honestly being minor. Even with omicron these petty tyrants in the community can’t let go of the fear and power.
OTOH, if they decide to ease their grip and free us again, conservatives could get blasé and liberals will settle back into their spoiled-rotten brat mode of enjoying all the perks of capitalism and freedom while griping about it all. So they won’t truly realize the error of their ways and will come out in droves again for the Devil.

When you’ve lost Banjo Boy the female staff whisperer.....
Walter Mondale was Carter’s VP - and while he was a liberal - he wasn’t an idiot... and yeah, you’re right - Carter didn’t go home every other weekend either.
Slow Joes schedule has him Wilmington again today and tomorrow
I seem to recall that Jimmy Carter was actually physically present in the White House and didn't give press conferences from some weird fake sound stage in the Exec. Office Bldg. (or whereever) off site.
Get rid of Nixon at any cost, get rid of Trump at any cost.
“A sense of drift.” A whiff of flatus.
Now Carter can take pleasure in knowing that Biden now ranks above him in the list of America’s worst Presidents.
