“Biden’s epic failures” headlines what must have been a painful piece for Axios cofounders Mike Allen and Jim VandeHei to write. The social media version of the header was even more on point: “Biden closes out Year 1 on an epic losing streak.”
Ouch.
“Biden, who marks one year in office next Thursday,” they write, “has never been less popular nationally, after personally lobbying his party and the public on Build Back Better and voting rights — and failing.”
Well, that’s one way to frame one of Biden’s epic failures.
Another way might be this: Biden wasted the public’s patience on a bill they don’t want instead of attending to our real concerns like inflation and supply-chain disruptions. As a result, Biden’s personal popularity tumbled, robbing him of the clout he needed to sway reluctant Democrat senators Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin.

As I said early in his term, after the 2022 midterms, Biden will announce he is not running for re-election, opening up the field for anyone and basically blocking Harris from ever being POTUS.
Joe has been doing this sort of thing for about 50 years.
And he is clearly not the man he used to be (which was never good in the first place).
It’s not like he’s going to “get the hang of it” and start really scoring some wins. No way. It’s all downhill for Joe and he can’t possibly last 3 more years. The Democrats are going to have to do something about Harris. I’m guessing “terrorist attack”. Probably “domestic”.

That is exactly what I was thinking. As a former DE resident I have been familiar with his guy for ~45 years. He has poor political instincts, no leadership qualities, is a cheating plagiarist, no powers of persuasion and really is not all that likeable despite the aw shucks backslapping reputation. His most redeeming quality is that of a junk yard attack dog (cf Clarence Thomas).

Joe Biden is already broken. And those behind the curtains are determined to let him drown and take the rest of us with him.

Exactly! Deep State/NWO/ Globalist overlords installed Joe because he is easily manipulated. The time was right to advance the reset and they couldn’t do that with Trump. When they are finished with Joe, only then, will he go.
I was reading another thread yesterday where a FReeper had posted some things from DU. Almost to a fault, everyone DUmmie praised Slow Joe, saying he was a good and honorable man, and was the right person for the job. My recommendation is to keep an eye on those folks. Once they sense blood in the water and begin to turn, it’s over for Pedo Joe. Right now they’re still buoyed by their collective hatred of Trump. However, continued losing like this will begin to sour them.

It’s actually becoming comical to watch this administration’s childish nitwits failing at each and every turn.
It all has serious consequences for our nation, but hopefully those who did actually support Biden/Harris will turn on them in November and hand the democrats an embarrassing defeat across the nation.
That is what I hope.
