Not if it has the proper electro-static material that grabs the "skeeters" as they go by. Being small actually INCREASES the mask's ability to nab them. Those who can't comprehend basic physics will not understand this, I suppose.
ALSO, in terms of source reduction, virtually all virion emission is by droplets, which droplet emission even surgical masks worn properly reduce dramatically.* Water vapor itself cannot carry virions, and humans are lousy aerosolizers if not shouting, coughing violently, singing loudly, etc.

It’s not droplets with an airborne virus. They float in the air and over 40 studies have proved these ineffective. Nice try though.
