Taking Bella to the vet was all I had to do today. Everything else had been taken care of. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was this afternoon because I expected it to be cooler. I like those surprises. LOL

It looks like our area is going to deal more with an ice event and I’m not happy about that. But they’ve said this snow is going to be a heavy wet snow and that can bring down tree limbs and power lines too.

These storms can create such a mess when they come this far south. *sigh*

People are panic shopping in Nashville apparently because it’s been mentioned on the news the past couple of days. No panic shopping around here that I’ve seen. But then we don’t have all the “transplants” that Nashville has either. We know it’ll melt in a couple of days. LOL

People get crazy during storms nowadays. They have too much time on their hands to fret and coping seems to be to load up on stuff you don’t even need, just to be doing something. Glad you are prepared in the right way.

I tried to open the back door to see if Peaches wanted in, and I couldn’t push it open! We’re having 45mph gusts. It’s still howling. Bah!

Milk, bread, and toilet paper. They gotta have tons of it when it snows for some reason. LOL Those shelves get wiped out and the rest of the store looks normal.

My only “panic” was that Bella was due for her shot next Monday and I might not be able to drive the 20 miles there and back again. She’s been ready for it the past few days and I didn’t want any delay if I could help it.
They were nice enough to agree to give her the shot today and she’s breathing much easier tonight. And I’m not stressing over her.

Dang, you do have some wind down there tonight! They say we’ll have 15 to 20 mph winds starting later tomorrow, going through Sunday. Nothing as wild as you’re dealing with.

We’re going to get hit with Izzy here in Western PA....but won’t be as hard as some areas. They’re saying 6-10 inches of snow which would be an average snowfall in winter here. But folks here stock up just the same for any snow storm.....most know the jet stream can wobble through here so you never know what you’re going to actually get.

Yes, and most of those people don’t even use milk or bread that much during their normal days. LOL! I’d be buying diet coke and doritos. LOL!

Our electricity has been going on and off for the past 30 minutes or so. Not sure how long these lines will hold up to the high gusts. I was modding a stream for Steve, and now I can’t even get it to come on. Wifi is iffy at best.

I hope it doesn’t get too bad where you are, but I know you guys know the drill for stocking up and hunkering down. I just hope you keep electricity and water. My friends in VA lost both for several days 2 weeks ago...meaning they had to replace everything they had in their fridge and freezer. Ugh.

That's true. I did buy an extra gallon of milk the other day when shopping. The one gallon I would have bought normally wouldn't have gotten us through Monday so I bought the extra one. Now we're a little ahead on next week. :-) Man, it must be really bad tonight. I wish y'all lotsa luck with that wind. Looking at Earthwind, you should be cooling off by now since the front has moved through. Chilly here but no wind. High thin clouds that block sight of the stars but the moon shows with a huge halo around it. Very pretty.
