In other words to Chuck, grow up, stop playing games, get serious about a compromise - i.e. most everyone agrees you need a ID to vote, start right there.
The point of it all is making the effort.
There are rabid progressive left-wing zealots that must be pacified, or at least placated.
No effort to engage their agenda is enraging to them.
Making an effort and losing with fore knowledge of the loss is a winning gambit.
