In that case, do you count Bangladeshis, Indians, and Pakistanis as “Caucasians?” How about Arabs, Jews, and Persians? Where do “Hispanics” fit within this context.

White/Euro ancestry is more correct. “Caucasian” is 19th century junk science IMHO.

Many ethnic groups are identified by the area from which their ethnic group is understood to have originated.

That makes Caucasian an excellent way to identify people of Germanic European ancestry, the descendants of those who originated Germanic European languages.

Like a typical lib ....we’ll say leans lib....changes the subject

Nobody claimed demographics haven’t changed ....markedly in fact since the 60s immigration act reversed limits set back after WWI

Whites are not yet however only ten to twenty percent of the population which is about what they occupy in commercials now

Whites also have the highest buying power as a rule

So why minimize them in commercials meant to reflect American markets...it makes no economic sense

Because folks with your culture views make them

And they wish to establish a narrative ...a perception

They started doing this long before the immigration boom in early GWB years

It’s intentional and reflects the views of the advertising firms talent and likesly those of ever increasing leftist corporate boards...and executives

It is a form of subliminal brainwashing to propagandize on race, making Blacks—and especially bi-racial couples— more acceptable to whites who still see most Blacks as lower class with dangerous issues of drugs and lawlessness.

The progressive advertising agencies, with the complicit approval of their clients in the business world, are out to transform society with messages of racial harmony and they have to show blacks in a positive light.

Since every white person I know has noticed this blatant effort to transform society, I think the result is counter to their agenda. And probably doesn’t help their client companies bottom line as many people take out their resentment at being manipulated by quietly adjusting their buying preferences whenever they can.

When in fact we never said we reject that there have been demographic changes.....I’m all too aware this ain’t the nation I grew up in..

I think I’m more aware than your average freeper that demographics is indeed destiny

I also stand on my opinion that social engineering of commercials the past two decades plus reflects the bias and intent of the ad creator more ...note the particular use of the word more....than it reflects changing demographics which are all too real sadly

I’m not looking to demean your age

I like to keep a perspective for when age affects perspective

I don’t think older is wiser necessarily

Region and leaving home is more a determiner than age

That commercial for Herrbol gummy candy where board executives act and speak like toddlers is probably closer to truth than intended.

The agenda is also blatantly apparent in the programs between the ads. Kelly Clarkson has to have a flaming homo segment in every episode now - something I thought only infected the thankfully departing Degeneris show. Should never have moved production from Nashville to L.A.
