The Kenosha County Eye has obtained a proposed Plea agreement for Dominick Black related to the Kyle Rittenhouse case. Dominick Black was Kyle Rittenhouse’s friend who purchased the rifle Kyle carried and shot three attackers in self-defense, in 2020, during the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The rifle was purchased legally under Federal law because the rifle was never “substantially transferred” to Kyle Rittenhouse. It was kept in a locked safe in Wisconsin until the riots in Kenosha. It was not a “dangerous weapon” illegally provided to a person under the age of 18, in Wisconsin law, because it is a rifle with a regular length barrel, and Kyle Rittenhouse was not forbidden from possessing a rifle with a regular length barrel.
A status conference is scheduled for 10 January at 11:30 a.m. with the parties and Judge Bruce Schroeder. The status conference was originally scheduled for November 22, 2021, shortly after the Rittenhouse verdict. It is expected the proposed plea agreement will be discussed and considered by Judge Schroeder. Judge Schroeder presided over the Kyle Rittenhouse case, where Dominick Black gave testimony. At about minute 37 Kevin Matheson of Kenosha County Eye says the prosecutor Binger and Dominick Black’s attorney have signed a plea agreement to drop the felony charges and plead guilty to a county ordinance of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. This is a citation, not a criminal matter. The fine agreed to is $2,000. There is no mention of forfeiture of the rifles which are legally owned by Dominick Black.

If that were the problem I’m sure the Brandon administration would donate a few hundred million to the city.
Say, when are those prosecutors going to be disbarred and charged? Violation of civil rights, perjury, brandishing (or deadly menacing), etc.
Depending on the DA, a no contest or guilty plea is required for innocents.
Conservatives throughout America should have contributed to a fund to fight the charges.

I suppose realistically it’s the best outcome for Black. Although I don’t see how they could make this charge stick if it went to trial.

Weapons aren’t dangerous period and anything can be used as a weapon.... It’s who has them and what they are used for and when they used.
DA’s will say plea to something or go down. That’s why very rarely does a defense case go to trial. Kyle got lucky. Usually an innocent person is forced to plea something.

After seeing their performance with Kyle I’d have laughed in their faces. But as I said this is probably the path of least resistance for Black. He basically gets an expensive traffic citation and no felony record.
The DA continues to look like a vindictive and incompetent butt weasel.

Okay then. Look, I don’t give a rip how they amuse themselves on their own time but Binger should be forbidden from being before this Judge in any official capacity whatsoever. And someone should take a real close look at any cases the two of these jokers were involved in.
It’s an instant grounds for appeal and the Bar Association, Superior Courts, and the State Legislature sure as hell should be looking into it.
