I feel sometimes like I am in some bad scifi movie. It’s unbelievable how evil/incompetent Biden is. Five years ago, who would have believed such things could happen in our country?

That’s a good start; it would be nice if it were universally applied. But it’s not nearly as fussy as they are in classifying deaths as “vaccination deaths”. If it were, they’d definitively rule out other possible causes of death, before classifying “with” as “from”.

If standards aren’t consistently applied, they aren’t real standards at all. They’re just dubious tools of persuasion.
Omicron is not giving the patients congestion in the chest, the congestion is all in the sinus area also very low grade fever Delta had much higher fevers for a longer period of time!!

There is, see Posts 11 and 31. The labs are directed by the CDC not to tell patients and doctors if the test is consistent with Omicron because the test is not FDA approved for that purpose. Some will tell you if you ask, but they are not supposed to. Asking if the result included an S-Gene Target Failure is more likely to get an answer than "is it Omicron?"

Cold-type symptoms = Omicron ?
Delta is very much so an impressive lower respiratory tract infection like the wild type infection but on steroids — much faster, much more severe if it progresses. Typically fever, shortness of breath, dry cough progression to hypoxemia, ground glass appearance on CT scan, ARDS physiology on ABGs, and severely deranged markers of inflammation (Elevated Ferritin, LDH, CRP, and significantly low absolute lymphocyte count).
Omicron — yes you are correct upper respiratory tract infection reminiscent of cold. What is striking with omicron is the impressive fatigue, there are reports of extremely severe sore throat and pharyngitis with a touch of laryngitis, sinus congestion, nasal congestion, and oddly in some people — severe stomach ache with some body aches. What is missing is the constant and severe cough (there is usually a little light Houghton) and virtually no shortness of breath.
It is also worth nothing that the patients with omicron are often tested falsely negative with a nasopharyngeal swab (this is oddly a lower respiratory sample) and positive with wither a throat swab of very distal nasal swab.
What is impressive is that opinions are clearly coalescing that this is widely through the population, deaths are falling and once the spike is over there will be no where else for CoVID to get a hold. So herd immunity
I agree with the assessment that this is Natural Vaccine — that being said, I am very happy I was vaccinated as with delta — no one died who was vaccinated (or it was exceedingly rare). Where delta still has a hold it is the unvaccinated in ICUand dying. Where omicron has a hold — there are people hospitalized with CoVID, not of COVID.

It doesnt look like vaccination makes a difference of omicron — however, I do think omicron has replaced delta, and will be a pandemic ender. This is over — the only question is how long the residual political power grab goes.
My friend died from Covid yesterday. A healthy, vibrant, unvaccinated 80-year old who was perfectly normal and active 2 weeks ago. No co-morbidities other than his age, and perhaps the fact that he was a former smoker, but quit 30+ years ago.. He was a retired pharmacist and for the past year had been taking preventative measures with supplements and vitamins, and had ivermectin on hand and took it for 5 days before being hospitalized. So very sad. He must have had Delta, his O2 was very low.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Yes; this was almost certainly Delta. The two week long tone frame and notable hypoxemia really speaks to it. Delta has some hanging on in interior United States where it is finally displaced by omicron in coming days
