The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is reportedly considering altering its masking guidance to recommend individuals wear “highly protective N95 or KN95 masks,” the Washington Post reported on Monday.
Citing an official “close to the deliberations who was not authorized to speak publicly,” the Post reported that the federal health agency is considering the recommendation change in the wake of the highly contagious omicron variant, despite the fact that it appears to be a more mild form of the illness.

I have had a good supply of KN95 masks since day one.
Where is that private school? Here in north Florida, kids are ridiculing masks where they must wear them in certain liberal school districts that still have quasi-mask-mandates.
My daughter is a substitute teacher, she says the kids wear then on their heads or under their chins. COnstant defiance, constantly mocking and wearing down the “Mask Karens.”
In my daughter’s classrooms, different all the time, she takes her mask off as soon as she closes the door, and do the kids. They are becoming very “based” and rebellious, openly mocking the masks.
And nobody in FL would DARE to mandate covid jabs on kids. If insane parents want to do it, that’s up to them, but at the school level? No way.

The CDC have known that from the beginning, just like they knew the PCR swab tests were inaccurate. They also knew the shots were ineffective, and that serious side effects were connected to them, so why would anyone even listen to them now?
Missing a caveat. If the N95 mask is barely ill-fitted, with a single 3 milimeter gap, it actually works LESS WELL then a cloth mask.

The CDC is a fully woke political operation per my determination in April of 2020, and any positive influence on traditional ideas of public health are pure happenstance. Convince me otherwise.

Forcing people to have plastic over their Breathing holes all day. Even if they have had every vaccine and every variant of covid.

Don’t use anything, mask or otherwise, with a “K” prefix since that means foreign made, usually china. The “N” refers to the style but is not exclusive. There are different sizes, some have exhaust vents, and there are several types of straps sized for head sizes.
The “K” prefix masks have been found to have fake NIOSH certification marks on them and that, in turn, makes the filter material suspect. The “95” is the rated particle size which is pretty tight. Better is the “N99” which can also be readily had. Reliable makers that I use are 3M, Moldex, and MSA.
The best rated material for trapping a virus is natural cotton, either layered cloth or pressed. The whiskery natural fibers helps create turbulence which might actually snag a tiny bug. Do not use any colored material unless backed by natural cotton. Dies fill up the natural whiskers and so eliminate the tiny voids where a bug might get caught. Do not use any mask material that starts with “—POLY”. Synthetic materials do not have the whiskers that natural fibers have so bugs tend to just richochet off.
Exhaust valves make the masks easier to wear especially if the wearer is full grown and moves a lot of air. And minimize glasses fogging. The snivelers and mask police don’t like exhaust valves but if the wearer isn’t sick that doesn’t mean anything.
And a proper mask is quite re-usable until you drop it in the mud, etc. They can be sanitized by a few seconds in a microwave or a warm oven. A brief 160 degrees kills any hitch hikers.
I’ve been doing the respiratory protection thing for six decades, have all of it here at the shop, and can keep my guys’ noses clean in a wide variety of atmospheres including NBC’s, BIO’s, weird paints, and all other sorts of stinky, flying stuff. Hope this helps and you are welcome to pass it on.
