ale University’s spring semester will be starting on Jan. 25, which is a week later than originally scheduled. And, in addition to being required to be fully vaccinated, boosted and tested upon arrival, undergraduate students are now being told they cannot frequent New Haven's businesses the way they have in the past.
While it’s only a temporary measure, businesses are expecting to be impacted, especially those who rely on dine-in and bar business.
In an email to undergraduate students last week, under Phase 2 of the Arrival Quarantine, Yale students were instructed to avoid local businesses, including retail, restaurants, and bars, as well as those with outdoor drinking or dining until at least Feb. 7.

New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker described Yale's requirement as a bit over the top.
"Our local businesses are really struggling right now, and the fact of the matter is that the university community is a main driver for the economic support of our businesses," said Elicker.
Yale says its undergraduate students may frequent local businesses, who provide curbside, or sidewalk pick up during this quarantine period.

Imagine paying for a Yale education and being such a sheep and complying with that.
This plandemic exposed the fact that those using University of Phoenix were right all along; those students paid a lot less for their online education than those attending better-known schools remotely...
Yale students are being taught obedience to their masters.
Pathetic.
Real human beings would boycott the place.
After all, I'm sure they can just hang around till next year, paying taxes and waiting this out with no income.
Say, I wonder if the University administration is on salary like Little Tony Fauchnocchio, in which case they can relax and let the guaranteed taxpayer checks pour in to their mailboxes...
Maybe the Yale alumni need to hold off giving the school $$ until they stop the craziness. Why get vaccinated, boosted and constantly tested if you still can’t live your life by going out to dinner?
I’m willing to bet the Yale Faculty and Admin are free to dine where ever they want.
They have the jab, booster and a negative test. Shouldn’t they be the safest people to be around at a restaurant.
Why doesn’t Yale trust the science and Jabs to work?
Yale makes money without students...the endowments
Best legal scam ever
Remember, the goal of the shutdowns is to put small business owners out of business. Why? Because the majority of small business owners are Republicans.
On the other side of insanity in our health care, if you test positive for any Covid, and you are a nurse or health care person.
You can still go to work at/in basically any hospital. However, you can’t go to your church, your favorite restaurant or to see a movie.
Health officials let COVID-infected staff stay on the job
ADRIANA GOMEZ LICON and JENNIFER McDERMOTT
Health authorities around the U.S. are increasingly taking the extraordinary step of allowing nurses and other workers infected with the coronavirus to stay on the job if they have mild symptoms or none at all.
The move is a reaction to the severe hospital staffing shortages and crushing caseloads that the omicron variant is causing.
California health authorities say hospital staff members who test positive but are symptom-free can continue working.
Some hospitals in Rhode Island and Arizona likewise told employees they can stay on the job if they have no symptoms or just mild ones.

They cannot possibly enforce a Yalie walking down to Wooster Street for a Sally’s Apizza.
The move is a reaction to the severe hospital staffing shortages and crushing caseloads that the omicron variant firing your unvaxxed health care worker-heroes is causing.

Or.....don’t get stabbed, boosted, OR tested, and still exercise your RIGHT to eat wherever the hell you damned well please!
Yea, go and see Yale, with all their liberal mindedness that university does nothing for New Heaven. Yale is a bunch of high-minded shit heads trying to make the world into a giant outhouse! (They have already succeeded at New Heaven!)
I've been exposed four times that I know of. Last April I tested positive asymptomatic and had to stay home for a week. Didn't get so much as a sniffle. My wife works in another hospital and got it and was out for two months. She recently went back to work. Seems like a hit or miss thing.
Maybe the Yale alumni are the shareholders in the companies making money out of this...
