Deaths from COVID-19 are overwhelmingly concentrated among the elderly, and thus it would seem obvious that vaccinating older Americans should be a top priority. Yet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have released guidance suggesting that millions of essential workers should receive the vaccine before many people 65 and older.
Part of the reason for this, according to a CDC report, is to mitigate and racial and ethnic "health inequities." Older Americans are disproportionately white, whereas the essential worker category includes a larger percentage of racial minorities and low-income people

I read that a very high percentage of the old and infirmed have already been vaccinated - especially in Florida.
According to Tucker, CDC directed all state health departments that this was a ‘guideline’ and up to each state to implement.
And he said that two states already implemented that policy.
Vaccination of the elderly and infirm should have done in 2021. That guideline is vary late coming out.

You can still go to work at/in basically any hospital.
However, you can’t go to your church, your favorite restaurant or to see a movie.

Health authorities around the U.S. are increasingly taking the extraordinary step of allowing nurses and other workers infected with the coronavirus to stay on the job if they have mild symptoms or none at all.
The move is a reaction to the severe hospital staffing shortages and crushing caseloads that the omicron variant is causing.
California health authorities say hospital staff members who test positive but are symptom-free can continue working.
Some hospitals in Rhode Island and Arizona likewise told employees they can stay on the job if they have no symptoms or just mild ones.
