Asked on ABC’s “Good Morning America” about a study showing that vaccines targeting COVID-19 and its variants have successfully prevented serious illness, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the head of the Centers for Disease Control, admitted, “The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least four comorbidities. So, really, these are people who were unwell to begin with.”
Walensky started by answering a question about the new CDC guidelines that suggest that people who have contracted the virus should isolate for only five days, reduced from the previous numbers, and then reintegrate into society wearing a mask. She replied:

Funny. I got into a fight online with someone that was repeatedly telling people that “getting COVID = a coin toss if you are going to live or die”. I wish they were mistakenly being hyperbolic, but they weren’t.
The number of people who have actually died “from” covid is more likely to be around 10% of what is being reported, especially now that they have really perfected their accounting techniques. It is interesting that the CDC is now starting to backtrack. At some point before 2024 they will pivot and try to blame everything on President Trump.
So Obesity/Diabetes/High Blood Pressure counts as 3. What’s the fourth?

I guess you can’t include pneumonia as a “co-morbidity”, but the pneumonia is one of the real killers whether flu or rona.

All the times cytokine storms get mentioned and nobody really knows what they are. But now you can go to Google or wherever and find out what a cytokine storm is and then come back and tell us why a cytokine storm is something that we should be afraid of.

I think the “cytokine storm” is the body doing what it’s supposed to do when it gets hit by a massive infection.
Leftists are desperate to call a “win” on the war against Covid even if they have to torture the stats to do it. They inflated the stats to destroy Trump. now they need to make the numbers look better for the Midterms.

How many (number or percentage) of the people who died with covid (allegedly, many of them were not even tested) would have died in the next few days or weeks?
The cold hard truth is the virus probably picked off a lot of weak people. With serious health conditions the virus was the last straw. But were they destined to live long and happy lives? Or were they going to check out next week anyway?

This doesn’t even cover the ones with two serious co-morbidities.
We could be looking at something like 90% +.
I think that would be the one, but I am not convinced age is
the determining factor they relate it to be. Too many people
surviving in that group, some above 100 years old.
If age was that big a deal, very few would be surviving 90 +.
