The basic point here is that wind energy shows up only sporadically and unpredictably, and tends to disappear when it is needed the most. The worst time for a blackout is when the mercury is at -20, as it was yesterday where I live. Note where electricity was actually coming from in the chart above: coal, the dark brown line, was the principal source, while natural gas, the light brown line, is only slightly behind. These are the sources that liberals want to do away with. Wind was flighty; sometimes it worked, but often it didn’t. Is that how you want your light switches to operate? And if you can find solar energy on this chart, a technology in which many billions of dollars have been invested, your eyes are sharper than mine.
On energy, we are in a race against time. We need to inform voters before the lavishly-funded “green” energy lobby destroys our electrical grid and our economy, at great profit to them but at ruinous loss to the rest of us.

Green Energy, powered by unicorn farts.
Our enemies are behind all this, and have slowly destroyed the country.
Too tough to pick out the colors....
The push for “renewable energy” is from the same people who are bringing you “The Great Reset.”
They just want you dead, and they would appreciate your cooperation in bringing it about.

I say do it. I’ve been going back and forth with a clown about EVs and how amazing they are.
Just like this covid crap, I’ve grown entirely to weary liberals and Do-Gooders that know it all telling me how to live my life.
California and its Brown Outs. The rich liberals suing to keep their precious ocean views off Nantucket.
All a scam. All lining pockets of the politicians, their investments, using the power of government to make them and their donors rich.
And their minions are the same ones doing their level best, pushing EVs.
Everything is.....10yrs from now EVs will do this, that and the other thing.
I’m curious to know when one of the media outlets gets with the right people and they show how easy it is to take over a car by hacking into the computer. The ones that don’t have semi-autonomous driving, a hacker can mess with it. Ones that have semi-autonomous driving, they can drive you off the road.
All done through the bluetooth on the tire sensors.
On the northern prairie, the wind only fails to blow when it’s deadly cold outside. At our old family homestead, the wind fails to blow perhaps 15 days per year, but that is in the dead of winter, when the daily HIGH is -25.
Is that near to where the sun don’t shine?
“But the wind won’t blow
You really shouldn’t go
It only goes to show
That you will be mine
By taking our time”
For those who have problems with coal and natural gas (I don’t), they need to get over their paranoia about nukes - cause wind and solar ain’t gonna cut it.
Interesting graph. The nukes are running flat out 24/7 the whole time period. Coal and gas are taking the swings pretty much in concert. When you get to the 6th and wind takes a sh!t the gas generation increases significantly. Probably due to simple cycle CT’s coming on line. Also note a small increase in oil fired stuff. Once again probably simple cycle CT’s that don’t have dual fuel capability and run on oil only.
Wind and solar wouldn’t even exist if the bought and paid for politicians and beaurocrats weren’t subsidizing with the taxpayers money.

On FR??
There are some strange infiltrators here these days. The oversized electric golf kart boyz are just as zealous as their leftist fellow travelers.
the wind is always blowing in joe’s and eric’s houses
Rd later.
Thanks; excellent link.
Nice for photographs of working windmills, but those high prairies are less than 20% of the country, and less than 5% of the people. Local windmill networks cannot power the entire grid.
Sending large amounts of energy more 600-800 miles causes 30% - 40% plus power losses.
