Another Idea. Mexico owes us billions. Why not give them credit of 25K or so on each prisoner they house for us?

My opinion on this depends on what exactly those gun crimes are.

Having one?
Having one in your car?
Not having a trigger lock?

Or is it actually stuff like robbing people while pointing a gun at them.

Perhaps, just perhaps the penalty isn't stiff enough to deter the crooks. I mean, THAT is what the penalty is for, yes.? Maybe doubling the penalty would produce the desired result....maybe. If not, double it again. :)

2: BULLETS
3: ELECTRICITY
4: POISON
5: BURY THEM ALIVE AND LET THEM SUFFOCATE

I’m sure that given a little notice that my ideas are acceptable, I could come up with some that have a little more entertainment value.
