Teachers Unions have been getting away with this crap for years...let’s see I first saw the beginnings of this about forty years ago and thought...okay teachers want to be treated like longshoremen...this will end in disaster.
Well, it took long enough, but here we are. At one time, when teachers started moaning and demanding, both students and parents were very supportive.
Now, I see that all that has changed
It’s about time.
Chicago “teachers” are notoriously lazy and don’t like to work.
Why would parents even want them back. Fire them all and make them get a real job where they have to actually go to work everyday. What a sweet deal they have. 3 months off in the summer and THEY get to DEMAND to choose when they will go to work and indoctrinate our kids? How dumb are we to sit by and let these non caring people even go near our most precious thing. Our kids. They CHOOSE to be teachers. Fire them and start again.
There are LOTS of caring teachers around. These are not them. They are selfish ungrateful.
