New Mexico authorities on Thursday said they were working with police in New York state to obtain material from actor Alec Baldwin's cellphone relating to a probe into the fatal shooting of a cinematographer on the set of Western movie "Rust."
The Santa Fe Sheriff's Office and New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney's Office are "actively working" with the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department, New York, and Baldwin's lawyers to get any materials on the phone pertaining to their investigation, according to a press release.
The statement came three weeks after the sheriff's office received a search warrant to seize Baldwin's Apple iPhone to examine text messages, emails and other information stored on the device, according to court documents.

Throw it away.
Great. Theyve done everything but outright tell him publicly tomthrow it away.
If he throws it away, it will not look good at all, publicly or in civil or possible criminal cases. However, it might look better than what is on the phone.
It is interesting how they are trying to obtain the phone. They have not seized it and he has not turned it in voluntarily.

Why is NY involved?

Police never work in your best interests.
three weeks, enough time for Baldwin to talk to hillary

Baldwin admitted that his crew was “well oiled” that day. After the shooting Baldwin and crew left “for lunch” for two hours, but reportedly left behind crew who refused police access to the scene without a search warrant.

They’ve had a warrant for 3 weeks and they are “working on it”?
How about serve the damn warrant and seize the phone, like you would for any other citizen?
Just Us isn’t for the little people.
Unfortunately that phone was stolen by a Person wearing a Magazine hat….
