Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Tuesday sued Joe Biden and the Pentagon over its military vaccine mandate.
Over 40% of the Texas National Guard are refusing to get the Covid
On Tuesday Governor Abbott asked a federal judge to overturn Biden’s vax mandate citing his own authority as commander-in-chief as governor.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has sued President Biden over the administration’s military vaccine mandate, citing the governor’s authority ‘as commander-in-chief and on Texas’s sovereignty.’
Abbott filed suit Tuesday in Texas, asking a federal judge to overturn Biden’s vaccine requirement, in a filing that repeatedly invokes Abbott’s own authority as commander of chief of the guard, which is subject to complex jurisdiction.

Abbott is a middle of the road, don’t rock the boat governor. In the past year, he is feeling pressure from the right because of primary challengers Huffines and West. Therefore, he is reluctantly making some minor moves to the right.
Mr. Abbott, great work.
Now, call a special session and pass a law making it illegal for private employers to discriminate against employees because of private medical choices.
This IS the civil rights issue of our day. Job or jab should never happen. Firing hundreds of critical front-line assets such as nurses, firefighters, officers who chose not to receive an experimental mRNA concoction should be banned by law.
I believe he is doing that already.
Texas should just secede already..
The Leftist Pentagon brass are losing control of the entire military. Expect some major drama in this new year in the evolution of that catastrophe.
I respectfully disagree in part. I think your right that Abbott is feeling some warmth on his back side from West and possibly others.
But, in my many decades of involvement in Texas Politics, I think Abbott is the closest to “genuinely” wanting to do the right thing for Texas that I’ve seen. God Bless Texas with his own hand!
Get in line - my governor already filed the same suit 🤪
