Remember when Trump was impeached for asking Ukraine to look into allegations of crimes by US politicians?

I'd say he hit a nerve.

About the only thing Biden can demand is to get his Depends changed. And even then “Dr” Jill may tell him to wait.

Whaaa? It is an economic basketcase?

It is the 2nd largest crude exporter in the world, and collected $73 Billion last year for it, during demand depressed pandemic.

Russia BY FAR is the largest Natural Gas exporter in the world. They don’t send that outwards for free. $26B last year, which was a 35% dip from the higher priced 2019.

THIS is why they don’t have debt or quantitative ease money creation from thin air. They have actual product of value to sell. Not advertising bytes on the internet.

Your point about the fact that the USA is a house of cards is sound. But while Russia may be doing well policy wise with tax rates and the like their GDP has hardly been showing strength.

Ukraine constantly keeps appearing like a quagmire of corruption and it is that quagmire that hurts the international efforts to support Ukraine’s independence from Russia. The west’s support for that independence is good in principal but carrying it out seems impossible without supporting some corrupt group in Ukraine. Maybe my view is ignorant and maybe it is just a wrong view due to “misinformation” is the sources we get.

Is this a Russkie news source giving their own spin to things? Why would Biden demand Ukraine abide by the Minsk Agreement when the reason they can’t be fulfilled is because of Russian heavy artillery, tanks and other illegal weapons being used to attack Ukrainians about a dozen times a day?

As is your point. They are way behind us. But I wonder how far ahead we are with this debt. At least they don’t kill heir own pipelines.

Putin doesn’t seem to be a sellout to the globalists. They may well surpass us since we are ruled by traitors.

Ukraine has a decades tradition of businesspeople/Oligarchs “seizing” power and conducting state policy in favor of private rather than public interests. It is impossible to halt that practice without sparking a conflict.

Oligarch Kolomoisky even has his own standing army...so there’s that as well.

And those oligarchs--like the ones in Russia--have a tradition of being under KGB/FSB control, per KGB documents and testimony on the subject.

In fact, they have enormous amounts of gas but everybody who tried to invest into development was robbed by the government. It is also much simpler to just steal the Russian gas.
