Blacks should be pissed at self-hating white leftists who think that blacks are so helpless.

A solar array anywhere other than on your house or barn is a waste of land.

Place also in Florida called Mountain View. Ha thats a laugh too — mountain what ?
We’ll it is the highest elevations in most of Florida and utility was fought for 5 years and got to built on top of all the hillsides, multi megawatt solar array.
Many agree that low areas, old dumps, are perfect for solar, but this was politician owned land that is visible for 20 miles that is being blanketed with panels. Pasco county, Dade City.

This would be a perfect opportunity for DeSantis to stick it to the Greenweenies and earn some credit with the black community. Block this worthless ripoff by lefty corporations. Save 650 acres of open farmland. Stop the solar bS and win all the way around.

This is nothing but power-gentrification white imperialists.
I’m with the blacks on this issue.

A solar array anywhere other than on your house or barn is a waste of land. I agree. Solar power on a house by house basis can cut your overall energy costs, but will never replace fossil fuel power plants.

A solar array anywhere other than on your house or barn is a waste of land. Better to put them at ground level, easier to maintain, doesn't screw up your roof, etc

Are they afraid they won’t be able to hear the gunfire, and the bullets whizzing past them?

Which then takes up quite a lot of valuable square footage, that needs to be placed decently far from trees or anything that'll shade 'em.

WE have 2 panels on the bimini and 2 wings on the safety rail of our sailboat. 660w of panels along with 300ah of lithium.
We do good most days, but, I would like to add another 200w of panels and 100ah of lithium.
But, we’re good right now.

All houses should have shade trees shading them. Mine are elm and pecan. Also I have plenty of spare square footage in the yard to use for panels

I don’t recall any solar panels in the Civil War.

It's pretty hard to get your whole house shaded. Plus, it takes a looong time for that - my house was built in 1992 and the oak tree out front is only about 15-20 feet taller than the house. It shades half the front and maybe a bit of the corner of the roof, that's it. The stupid not-crabapple whatever-it-is tree in the back shades the corner between the patio and the fence, so almost no grass grows there. Gives shade to the patio roof, as it's maybe 5-10 feet taller than the house, though I think it's several years younger than the oak.
And many houses don't even have that. It takes decades to grow a shade tree, or way too much $$$ to start big. And I doubt most people have 2-300 sqft of space in their front/back yard that they'd be willing to burn on solar panels...

I was surprised at how fast the pecan grew. I planted it because I wanted pecans. Or as it turns out I really wanted well-fed squirrels. But in 14 years it is now taller than the house although still not over the house.
