That’s a one-sided view of Finland’s participation; they allied with Germany to re-take the territory seized in the Winter War (when the Western ALlies did nothing to help the new country of Finland). When Hitler wanted Finland’s help at Leningrad, they wouldn’t participate.
The USSR understood the difference; at the end of the war Finland was the only European country bordering them that wasn’t occupied/reduced to a Soviet satellite.
Finland likes to switch sides....or as he puts it...”Manuvers” to which ever side assists their own agenda.
I suspect had Sweden not maintained its neutrality Post-War, it could have been a different story for Finland.
