The Israeli embassy in Kiev, Ukraine, on Saturday condemned a torchlight march of Ukrainian nationalists who celebrated the birthday of Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera.
“Israel condemns the nationalist march in honor of Stepan Bandera. Any attempt to glorify those who supported Nazi ideology defiles the memory of Holocaust victims in Ukraine. We are demanding a thorough investigation of the antisemitic manifestations that took place during the march in accordance with the law adopted in Ukraine in 2021,” the Embassy said in a stern statement.
The march drew special attention in light of the threat of a Russian invasion. Andriy Tarasenko, leader of the nationalist party Right Sector, said, “Today, when there is a war with the occupier at the front, and the struggle against the ‘fifth column’ continues in the rear, we remember and honor the memory of Stepan Bandera.”

Yes, Nazism is still accepted in Ukraine but rejected by most of the Russian speaking and Ethnic Russian population in the Eastern part of the Nation.

The Population is largely Ethnic Polish or groups associated with Polish Tradition and Culture.

I know that Poland was divided regarding the European Political Situation leading up to WW II, I believe it was due to WW I and the exit from so much Royal and Aristocratic Rule in Europe.
Before WWII Poland was a rather xenophobic place, where people believed the Jews were drinking baby blood. You don’t see a lot of this in Poland nowadays, in Lvov at least half are still around these lines. And they managed to bring it to Kiev.
A lot of Ukrainians have moved to Poland in recent years seeking employment and better living conditions.
Which is why my proposed solution is to split Ukraine into three parts, the Western part, free to join NATO and EU, a neutral Ukrainian state, based in Kiev, that will serve as a buffer state, and the Eastern parts, free to join Russia.
It only really happened after Piłsudski passed away in 1935, and the Endecja took over. Piłsudski was a very tolerant man.
