That is 100% not true. Much of the increased deaths is regional. Meth head states like W.Va and ohio have increased deaths

I work in health insurance and sell employee benefits including group life/disabaility etc.

Life insurers sold a record amount of policies last year and have record amount of reserves.

Life insurance co’s are financially stronger than ever.

The majority of people who died from covid were old old and most have zero life insurance or smaller face amounts so insurance co’s were not as impacted as thought.

I don’t even know how to answer your post adequately, since you include a lot of things in it that have nothing to do with what I’ve posted on this thread.

The reason this whole story about higher claims in group insurance plans is making headlines now is simple. These companies fix their group premiums for the calendar year, so they were immersed in all these figures through November and December to set their group insurance premiums for 2022.
