Does the impossibility of a goal make it any less a worthy goal?
I’m all for state-level prohibition, of activities which are proven to be a murderous cancer on society. The majority of fatality traffic accidents involving innocent people, including the smallest children, are driven by alcohol consumption. It is a destroyer of families, individuals, lives, productivity and everything good.
I will never back off of my condemnation of it.
100% of fatality traffic accidents involve automobiles. If you really want to get at the root of the problem you could start by banning those.
I’m not knocking your right as an individual to hate it, the US Constitution grants you that right as an individual. Just saying at some point reality should come into play. The ten commandments didn’t work either. No matter what you do it is not going to stop it. It is unrealistic to even think so. It has already been tried... Even “No Dumping Here” signs do not work.
Unfortunately you just can’t change human nature as hard as you try.
