I had the opportunity to meet her while I was in college. She can by our institution having made fun of the namesake of a fictional town named after our college while she was on the golden girls. She was lovely and gracious and kind. All the things you have said.

I forgot gracious. I've read many times she treated the behind camera with respect. Did you know she is in Guiness for the longest TV actor. I have laughed at her self-effacing and deadpan looks all my life.

Her last movie, The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock, she stole every scene she was in. If you don't mind rom-coms, it's worth watching.
