sometimes you cant even have grapefruit with some meds.
i have a wild story about that because I ordered some kind of water drinks for someone that had grapefruit flavoring..and he accused me of trying to kill him. i had no idea that he couldnt have grapefruit.
My heart med ( anti-arrhythmic ) says no grapefruit.
My cardiologist sneered at that. He said I would have to drink two gallons of grapefruit juice a day to cause any problems.
Point being, *everything* has to be carefully checked and researched when dealing with the FDA and the CDC. Doesn’t hurt to question your doctor in detail when he proscribes a new med.
You must be the final decision maker when assessing risk vs benefit with anything related to your health. It’s clear the government doesn’t agree with me on that.
