On his first day in office, President Joe Biden revoked the Keystone XL pipeline permit via Executive Order 13990.
With the stroke of a pen, Biden canceled a project that would have boosted U.S. gross domestic product by more than $3 billion, carried 830,000 barrels of oil daily from Canada to the United States, and directly and indirectly provided up to 26,000 jobs—11,000 of which were instantly lost.
Climate czar John Kerry lent a sympathetic voice to the plight of the newly laid-off workers: “Go to work to make the solar panels.”
Then-President Donald Trump had greenlit the project in 2017, after years of delay from the Obama administration.
Though the Keystone XL pipeline project received a favorable environmental review from the U.S. State Department, and construction had already started (crossing the Canadian-U.S border), the Biden administration bowed to radical environmentalists and the “religion” of climate change, leaving hardworking Americans in the cold.
Oil is the lifeblood of our economy and critical to our energy security, but the personal toll may be the highest cost of all: livelihoods, hopes, and dreams dashed in an instant.

Given Kerry’s exposure of Israeli and American secrets to Iran, he’s an unlawful enemy combatant, at least to Israel. They should neutralize him by whatever means necessary, any where, any time.

How does it hurt our energy independence to not import and refine, usually for export, foreign tar sands oil?

Americans especially those who loathed Trump and voted for Biden just because, will soon realize how Biden has almost killed the energy sector of the US economy.
We are already seeing gas quickly ramping up toward $4 per gallon. However, this winter could bring home the consequences of Biden’s energy policies. In the upper Midwest we are experiencing a polar vortex with frigid arctic air spilling down from the Arctic circle. Many will be shocked when they get their home heating bills after the first of the year. Biden’s policies could also lead to shortages of natural gas and home heating oil and leave thousands shivering in their homes.
Pushing dependence of fickle wind and solar power could leadd widespread blackouts like occurred in Texas last year. These blackouts will only be exacerbated by the push for more EVs which will further stress the electric grid.
Ironically Biden gave the go ahead for a natural gas pipe from Russia to supply natural gas to Europe and give Putin a strangle hold on the European economies
Waiting for anyone to point to a single thing he has done that has NOT helped to destroy America.
