The states had roadblocks during the lockdowns in some states. NYS had them.
We knew that.
I still have to correct it. I’m wired that way.
How about this? If vaccines beco.e mandatory to fly, blockade the airports. No surface travel in or out. Nobody flies until the old fart dies or caves.
Biden, your shelf life can’t be short enough for us.
Princeton University is banning travel outside of the county for students. That isn’t legal.
That’s some leadership.
If it were up to a medical team, the country would shut down for flu season every year unless every breathing human were injected with flu vaccine. Every year.
Great way to put the final nail in the coffin of airlines. Major airport terminals will become ghost towns...everyone fired. Boeing might as well turn out the lights...the party’s over.
Bye bye, Greyhound. Adios Amtrak.
So the medical team is running the economy now? These people are evil and out of control.
I think it is something somewhere in bill of rights or amendments or constitution itself that applies to commerce? Can’t stop goods and services between states? I wonder if that is what he’s thinking of?
Welcome to our state. State trooper checkpoint ahead. Please have your vaccine card ready to show a trooper.
And where in the constitution does he have the authority to do this?🙄
I thought this was not going to be solved at the federal level.
= = =
It is not.
You just cannot cross state borders. That makes it the state level, right Joe?
When you have the CDC, FDA, and Fauci all collecting money from the vaccines, its not too hard to predict what they will decide.
Full vaccination is required to go on a cruise ship. Tell me how that is working out.
I know the Constitution forbids the favoring of one port over another and it forbids states from interfering in interstate commerce. The 14th Amendment says that citizens from any state enjoy the privileges and freedoms of other states they happen to be in.
So if I go across the river to Illinois, I have the same rights and freedoms of Illinoisans. (Actually even more, I can buy ammo without a F.O.I.D. card and they cannot). But an expressed ‘freedom to travel’ isn’t in the Constitution, but I suppose it might be hiding in a penumbra somewhere.
Air travel passports will quickly lead to train and bus passports.
We’ll have internal passports, just like in the Soviet Union.
