A gang of four suspects has been arrested and charged by the Los Angeles Police Department in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Jose Ruiz Gutierrez in furtherance of a robbery. The suspects may also be linked to other similar 'follow-home' incidents in the area.

BLM’s major purpose is to enable these type of criminals so that they can expand their predatory behavior beyond the black community.
Decades ago a friend with a nice car (not super-flashy but a nice expensive car) described how he’d always make sure he wasn’t followed; he lived in an area where a “tail” would stand out (and always kept the car in a garage, so even if the perps scouted the neighborhood later they wouldn’t see it).

A young trainee that worked for me lived in Chicago with his elderly mother. Not in the worst but clearly not the best part of the city.
Every day he would change into ‘street’ clothes before heading home. Also not following a steady schedule by shopping/visiting on the way home.
If it became known you had a job, you become a target because you have money. In most of Chiraq the garages face an alley; a nice choke point for an ambush.
Unlike way too many young ones, he did not purchase a shiny new $50k gas hog. Oh no, he drove the ugliest barf green five-year-old Chevy known to exist! For the same reason, no flashing.
A hard-working young man with a quick smile, a real asset, and never a question about passing a drug test.
And, yes black.

I’ve never worked in an outright dangerous area (though I’ve worked in areas that become dangerous at night); I’ve also never had a car that was ONLY five years old, and I don’t wear jewelry that would make me a target.
Sounds like he understood “the rules”...
Perhaps it is time for the people in the nicer neighborhoods to start up their own militia to protect their homes and families.
The first time that BLM sets foot in those neighborhoods, they will be meet with a hail of gunfire.
In the uncut version of the movie about the life of Howard Hughes, his confidant said “You know, riding in a high price car like yours criminals could look at it and say that fellow must have a lot of money. I think you should consider getting an ordinary car, maybe a regular Chevrolet.” Hughes did so the next day and always rode in nondescript cars after that.
Are they out on zero bail yet?
