The defiant far-right acolytes of former president Donald Trump in the House Republican caucus have embarked on a targeted campaign ahead of the midterm elections to expand their ranks — and extend their power — on Capitol Hill.
The effort, backed by Trump and guided by House members such as Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.), is part of a broader push by followers of the “Make America Great Again” movement to purge the GOP of those not deemed loyal to the former president and his false claims that the 2020 election was rigged in favor of Joe Biden.

They aren’t purging those not loyal to Trump, they are purging RINOs. There were RINOs before Trump ya know.
Ever since the Steal, I've been hoping for a tidal wave of retribution to sweep away the RINO traitors who refused to enforce voter ID and rolled over on the cheat-by-mail-in ballots because of their petty hatred of Trump.
RINOs are responsible for the woke clown world we now live in.
Lizard Cheney, Kemp, Raffensburger, Murky Murkowski...they are the tip of the iceberg. Here's hoping they will be sent packing in the primaries.

It’s high time the media is required to define the terms they use. What is ‘far right’? Give a succinct list of what thoughts, ideology, or beliefs define this characterization.
Is it ‘far right’ to believe the nation you live in is the best in the world?
Is it ‘far right’ to believe that reverse racism shouldn’t be taught in schools?
Is it ‘far right’ to believe in private enterprise, personal property, and limitations on how much of what you legitimately earn the government can take from you?
Is it ‘far right’ to believe in personal freedom and self-determination?
Is it ‘far right’ to believe that only citizens should vote in American elections?
Is it ‘far right’ to believe that sovereign nations have a right to protect their borders?
Seriously, what IS ‘far right’.

They never fail to get this line in every article of this nature.
“Far Right” in media and elite language means anyone more conservative than, say, Mitt Romney or Liz Cheney, who are “conservative”. “Moderates” are people like Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and John Kerry. “Progressives” are people that Lenin would have considered too radical.

While I’m admittedly lukewarm about a 2024 Trump candidacy, the idea of gop candidates in solid red districts actually standing up and fighting for conservative values is a great idea! I know it’s not been tried before, but you know what? It might actually work! *
