The other side of this is that he’s dealing with voters who mostly get their information from TV, too.
For all the damn good reasons to be very cautious about these “vaccines” and to openly oppose the stupid mandates we see imposed all over the place, let’s keep in mind that the typical swing voter in the U.S. today is a suburban dingbat Karen with an IQ of 90 who would tie a plastic bag over her head if Joe Biden said it was an effective way to stop the spread of COVID.

If it were October 2020 and you were over 60 and in very high risk group it would probably be worth risk- reward payoffs to get the vaccine. If you are under 60 and not in a high risk group, maybe not. It's now 2022 and the vaccines are increasingly obsolete and ineffective for protection against the latest variant and we are learning that there can be severe side effects and negative reactions to the vaccines that may not be as rare as we have been led to believe. We also have well proven and validated therapeutic options to treat covid infections effectively, especially if started early in the course of the infection. Totally different risk- reward equation now and the vaccines in their current state just don't seem to make as much sense as when the covid emergency hit while Trump was in office. There is growing buyers remorse on getting the vaccines as the risks of covid fades but the reality of downstream negative consequences of having had the vaccine and who were and were not actually at serious risk are becoming known and the media fear offensive loses it's grip .
