If they are quietly law abiding citizens happy to cooperate with law enforcement to keep the neighborhood safe, then no problem.
Does the person mean arresting a lot of criminals is synonymous with arresting a lot of black people? Then THAT is the racist idea.
Police raiders going to gambling, underage drinking, drug dealing, stolen property fencing and and prostitution places might mean 80% arrested are Aleutian Islanders and Inuit, someone might predict. See the insult factor?
First dead or raped social worker will end that fantasy..I had a co-worker who had worked at a prison and was taken prisoner during a riot...15 years later California is still paying for her disability(PTSD)
They aren’t going to change course, that would be admitting they are wrong. There will be talking and “programs” but things are going to keep getting worse in all the familiar places.
