So, I assume CG has law enforcement authority while the Navy can blow stuff to smitherines.
That’s my Amazon Shipment you A-holes! Give that back!
I would consider that a successful joint operation!!
p
Just sell the AK-47s and ammo to gun stores all over Florida and other free states.
I trust that the Navy chooses to pay attention to the weapons and explosives and try to track them back from whence they come.
If new, then very interesting.
But no word of any Afghani-sourced US weapons making it to Iraq or Yemen yet.
In any case, resell them to another military (Ukraine anyone?) or better yet, through the military surplus system.
> stateless fishing vessel ... North Arabian Sea ... illicit weapons and ammunition
Illicit how? How does the US Navy have jurisdiction there?
I want one of those for Christmas!
Its a stateless vessel. There is literally no one to complain to and all your guns are belong to us.
A friend of mine crossed the Arctic Circle and the International Date Line in the Coast Guard. That’s how I know they have special semi-hazing type rituals for those doing it their first time.
Seems like the actions of pirates not any worthwhile military.
If these clowns in the middle east would do their own policing.
Maybe we could avoid foreign entanglements.
Not to mention funding sh!thole countries who eventually stab us in the back.
CJ specializes in coastal operations and interdiction. Whose coast they operate off of is secondary.
The Houthis are some bad ass hombres
People are terrified of them
Imagine 7-10 divisions of armed maniacs with the devotion to killing the Aryan brotherhood has in prison
The Houthis fight well
For savages...
secondary? That’s news to me and to others. There are 30 million illegal immigrants they failed to interdict right here on our own coasts. Someone in the CG needs to grow a pair and start doing their PRIMARY job.
Semper Paratus .
Search and rescue
Maintaining aids to navigation
Enforcement of International Maritime Law
( in war time , part of the Navy )

I’m sure doj, dos, DoD would have the commandant chipping paint
if it involved itself in
“ immigration of undocumented refugees”,,,, spit
Not that coasties wouldn’t be totally gung ho in stopping the current invasion if permitted.
Jmo.
Doc, do you really think playing cop in the Arabian Sea is more important than matters closer to home, right now? We are well covered here?
Our govt. siezing “illicit” firearms and giving them to terrorists for personal gain on the part of politicians strikes a little too close to home.
I would love to see the brown water navy patrolling the Rio Grande river though.
Let’s try it this way.
Suppose it’s a fishing boat inside our waters, owned, operated and staffed by US natural-born citizens and no proof of intent to give or sell to actual enemies of the United States.
Would the same bullshit woke __ssy mil “sieze” their AKs?
And give them to whom? Destroy them? Give them to enemies (we never do that - right? oh, Afghanistan).
Give them to other natural born citizens? After stealing them from natural born citizens?
So, why trust them in this particular case?
I want two of the AKs.
Another for me and one for the First lady for Christmas.
Maybe some ammo too.

This is another example of globalists and bureaucrats at work to make the entire planet subject to the laws and whims of powerful nations.
Apparently it all started with the UN, and efforts to prevent illegal fishing. Boats that don't have the proper registration, as defined by various globalist organizations, lose all legal protections normally given to ships at sea.
And then whoever has the military power to board them gets to do what they want with the ships, their goods, and the people on them. Doesn't sound like freedom to me, but just one more example of UN driven world government.
There is a very informative publication on the topic here.
