The commies always said that they would defeat the USA without firing a single shot and hang us with our own rope.

Putin’s audience is people who are normal enough to look in their own BVDs and draw a few inescapable conclusions from what they find there. The audience for our elites I still can’t piece together. Internationally speaking, I wonder who most people will be more inclined to trust and take seriously.
Russia has lived through (except for the millions who didn’t) the steps that follow this sort of cultural subversion. It sounds like they’re not up for a repeat. Good for them.

We have lost our 1st Amendment freedoms. If anyone speaks against homosexuality, transgenderism, blacks, and other sacrosanct isms of the left; he/she will be harassed, might lose a job, kicked out of a university, lose a certification, and so on. People today don’t have the freedom to speak or write freely. These matters are not Putin’s fault. They are ours.
The question is, what are going to do about it???

Can you merely invent truth with your mind, when that “truth” denies biological and physiological science? No. You can pretend, even very intently and devotedly pretend, even changing how you live to support the pretense, to satisfy an errant obsession you have been unable to purge from your mind. It does not make it truth.
If the Czar was still in charge, Putin would have worked for the Okhrana, instead of the KGB. It was never about ideology with Putin.
Russians are not conditioned to handle the American style of government, it’s not a “One Size Fits All” thing. Russians tend to prefer autocratic government, perhaps it really is the best fit for them.

At least the Tsars hated Communism and were fully devoted to God. We don’t even have that with Putin, who actually compared Lenin’s relics to Christian relics, not to mention STILL doesn’t bulldoze Lenin’s mausoleum or remove Karl Marx’s statue DESPITE having plenty of chances at doing so, even bragged about keeping his KGB card.

To be fair, even Stalin spoke simple truths. Didn’t stop him from promoting the same lies abroad anyways, or him being a Communist.

I am not glossy over anything bad about Putin.
But on the “trans” gender issue he speaks correctly. Does that make a “good” spokesperson in general? No.
Precisely. However, his own actions speak louder than words since he has no problem funding those groups.
