Pictures: U.S. Navy Seizes Arms from Iran Likely Bound for Yemen

The U.S. Navy said it seized a large cache of assault rifles and ammunition being smuggled by a fishing ship from Iran likely bound for war-ravaged Yemen. U.S. Navy patrol ships discovered the weapons aboard what the Navy described as a stateless fishing vessel in an operation that began on Monday in the northern reaches of the Arabian Sea off Oman and Pakistan. Sailors boarded the vessel and found 1,400 Kalashnikov-style rifles and 226,600 rounds of ammunition, as well five Yemeni crew members.

That’s fine. However it should not be forgotten that the 9/11 Saudis have bought and received over $1 trillion dollars of American military equipment and cannot subdue impoverished, hostile irregulars in adjacent Yemen and establish stability. Watching Biden go to these corrupt Saudi lowlifes begging for oil is beyond repulsive.

If that is 1400 rifles, it looks like they may have only shipped 1400 magazines with them.
22600 rounds is 515 spam cans @ 440/can.( that is only 16.14 rounds per rifle.)
