Rand Paul: Fauci Is Not Beyond Reproach
Reason ^ | Dec 22 | Jon Stossel

When people criticize Dr. Anthony Fauci, he says: "They're really criticizing science. Because I represent science."

Pretty arrogant.

I assume Fauci is a top-notch scientist. My brother worked with him at the National Institutes of Health and respected him.

But power tends to corrupt, and Fauci has been given a lot of power.

His department directed tax dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to modify coronaviruses in bats.

When Sen. Rand Paul (R–Ky.) asked Fauci about funding "gain of function" research, experiments that try to learn more about a disease by making it more contagious or deadly, Fauci denied it, saying, "Sen. Paul, you do not know what you are talking about!"

But it turns out that Paul did know what he was talking about.

The Wuhan experiments Fauci funded did not directly cause COVID-19. We know that because the molecular structure of the altered viruses is different.

But gain-of-function research is risky and deserves public discussion.

I like that Paul, unlike most of his colleagues, pushes for that discussion. In my new video, he says he does this because it's important "not only for assessing what happened and how this pandemic arose, but making sure it doesn't happen again."

Originally, "experts" claimed COVID-19 came from animals in the wet market in Wuhan. But now "experts" say that COVID-19 might have come from a lab.

"This has become so polarized that you're either completely in the bag with Fauci or completely opposed to him," says Paul. "There is no one wanting to actually get to the truth of where this came from or understand that this could happen again."

"It's Reminiscent of the medieval church [where] the government representative decided what was science….

But as long as Fauci’s behavior and comments are consistent with the Biden cabal political narrative, he knows the commissars at the corrupt Department of Justice will not arrest and jail him for lying to Congress under oath and illegally funding gain of function research at the Wusan military biological research facility. Fauci is a pathetic puppet.

Pretty much. As long as Democrats control enough things Fauci can pretty much get away with whatever and keep his position.

Even if the GOP took over most of them are too cowardly to take corrective action, whatever, they theoretically on paper might be able to do.

I wouldn’t trust Fauci any farther than I could throw a freight train. Fauci needs to be brought up on ‘crimes against humanity’, however, I doubt if we will ever see it.

I like Rand. He’s carrying the torch on this issue for the red team. I remain puzzled why there has been no inquiry into FDA needing 3/4 of a century to cough up Pfizer material.

If that isn’t enough to rouse one’s suspicions then I don’t know what is.

‘Even if the GOP took over most of them are too cowardly to take corrective action’

90 oercent of the time that is true, but if enough voters figure they’ve had it with this coronavirus response, these feckless pubbies will find themselves in the unfamiliar position of nose to the grindstone...

The reason is very simple. Pfizer in all probability knew the risk benefit ratio of the jab. They knew in particular the risks far outweighed the benefits in the young. However, they decided it should be given to all including pregnant women. In all probability they hid data when applying for the EUA "emergency use authorization."

If I am correct their liability is unlimited. It should be noted that the vaccine makers have blanket immunity for damages caused. However, if they submitted fraudulent and or doctored data to the FDA they do have liability.

So no one asks the next question. What other research is Fauci, Dazcak, Gates and others involved with that we don’t know about yet? Also, what financial gains have these people made by investing in companies that benefit from the vaccine approvals. This gets to the heart of financial corruption and conflicts of interest.

Trump should have fired Fauci when he had the chance.

Government is force and coercion, not reason. “Government science” and “government scientist” are oxymorons.

“We know that because the molecular structure of the altered viruses is different.”

We do? Just how do we “know” that exactly?

Hence the 55 years for the FDA to complete FOIA request for vaccine approval documents.

I would look forward to the House and Senate hearings into Fauci in 2023 but I’m pretty sure he’s going to retire fairly soon, 3-6 months and attempt to get off the radar, which will be quite difficult.
