Rice is my congressman. He will not be getting my vote next fall if he survives the primary. I won’t vote for the Democrat but will likely not vote in this contest. I think the GOP should easily pick up the House regardless. We can bring in a true conservative for the SC 7th District in 2024.

So let’s say Trump started the riot. How does that change whether or not the vote should be certified. It was either crooked or it wasn’t. By tying them together you are vouching for stealing elections if you don’t like the actions of a President.
Why would Trump’s actions, inactions, or whatever in January 2021 be reason for Rice to change his assessment that certain State’s election results on Nov 3, 2020 were fraudulent, or too flawed to certify? His position on certification should have been based on FACTS, not whether he liked the candidate. Since the evidence of election fraud has only become stronger with the passing of time, Rice’s comments paint him into a corner: was he being dishonest on 1-6-21 or being dishonest now?

I have been in South Carolina for several years and I still can't figure out what is going on with the Republican Party here.
The only thing about it I know for sure is that I am surrounded by RINOs. Two of the biggest ones are Miss Lindsey and Tim Scott who I blame for America being where we are not with the FJB White House. And then, there's the SC GOP Chairman, Drew McKissick, a big anti-MAGA backstabber.
If Graham and Scott were remotely serious with "fixing" things they would start by apologizing for voting to certify the stolen 2020 POTUS election. Then I would consider listening to what they said, but I would darn sure, "trust, but verify" while keeping one hand on my wallet at all times.
