This is the result of Trump playing hardball with Abbas and doing peace deals with other individual countries.

Please note that this is from Mansour Abbas, an Arab List Party member and MK who lives in Israel proper, and is part of the new Jewish-run coalition government.

He should NOT be confused with Mahmoud Abbas, the "Palestinian Authority" leader and Islamofascist wacko and leader of Fatah, who lives in Ramallah, West Bank, and wishes Israel was wiped off the map (even if he won't admit that publicly). He wouldn't be caught dead saying that Israel will remain a 'Jewish state'

I chalk MANSOUR'S change of heart to now "supporting" the idea that Israel is a "Jewish state" to the same reason why Rick Perry was vehemently AGAINST the Dept. of Energy and gung-ho in favor of abolishing it, until he got a cushy federal job RUNNING the Dept. of Energy. Then he was suddenly totally FOR keeping the department and expanding it!

Amazing how getting a cushy government job by the ruling administration will change a politician's viewpoint on the validity of that office!
